The LeadOut, Pursuit Cycles’ 2019 model, is available for order

BOZEMAN, MT – Dec. 14, 2018

After selling out of the Mark I, our first run of limited-edition U.S.-made bicycles, Pursuit is currently taking orders for next year’s model. An evolution of the MARK I, the LeadOut combines cutting-edge technology and materials with a clean, timeless aesthetic informed by our team’s combined 10-plus decades in the industry.

The LeadOut has the same “stage race” geometry of the MARK I with some exciting updates. Improvements to the configuration, material and manufacturing process have allowed us to shave weight off the frame, and the LeadOut features beautiful new paint schemes applied to a show quality standard by our partner in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Buyers have their pick of five color combinations or three solid colors.

Thirty-five LeadOuts will be available, and we anticipate this will be another sell-out run. Four sizes are currently available—54.5, 55.5, 56.5 and 57.5. As Pursuit grows, we will add additional sizing options.

What won’t change as our business grows is our commitment to artistry and mastering the technical challenge of building the best bikes available, right here at our shop in Bozeman. “We’re threading the needle between high-tech composite manufacturing and a really craft-level attention to detail,” said Carl Strong, who has built more than 3,500 frames over his 30-year career.

“By the time our bikes are ready for shipping, they’ve been touched by maybe four people,” added founding partner Loretta Strong.
